Recently, the industrial equipment upgrade and renovation project of Harbin Lianqing Plastic Packaging Container Co., Ltd., located in Heping Village, Chenggaozi Town, Xiangfang District, Harbin, has been fully completed and put into operation. With a total investment of RMB 25 million—entirely self-funded—the project replaced outdated, high‑energy‑consumption equipment and added a fully automated blow‑molding production line, achieving an intelligent upgrade across the entire production process and setting a benchmark for technological transformation in Harbin’s local plastic packaging industry.
Inside the Lianqing Plastics Standardized Production Workshop, a brand-new, fully automated blow‑molding line operates in an orderly fashion. From melting and molding to cooling and final product sorting, the entire process is fully automated, with robotic arms handling the transfer of finished goods and significantly reducing manual intervention. The project has decommissioned four inefficient, aging pieces of equipment and installed four state-of-the-art, next‑generation intelligent blow‑molding systems. At the same time, supporting environmental facilities for exhaust gas recovery and raw material recycling have been optimized, resulting in an 18% reduction in production energy consumption and a 40% increase in per‑shift output of plastic containers. The facility is now capable of mass‑producing a full range of products, including food‑grade plastic drums, chemical packaging canisters, agricultural plastic containers, and municipal sanitation plastic items.
According to Dong Yuyan, the company’s head, this round of technological upgrading focuses on two key areas: first, Quality Upgrade , the new equipment offers higher molding precision, with comprehensively improved container sealing, drop resistance, and corrosion resistance; all food packaging complies with national safety standards for plastic products in contact with food; secondly, Low-carbon and environmentally friendly Additionally, a closed‑system dust collection and waste‑heat recovery system has been installed, enabling 100% recycling and reprocessing of edge trimmings, thereby reducing pollutant emissions and aligning with the green transformation policies for Heilongjiang’s light‑industry manufacturing sector.
Currently, the company’s production lines are operating at full capacity, with orders serving grain and oil, seasonings, agricultural inputs, daily‑use chemical products, and auto‑repair‑related enterprises across Harbin and throughout the province. Following its smart‑manufacturing upgrade, the delivery cycle has been shortened by 30%, and the efficiency of customized packaging R&D has improved markedly. Moving forward, Lianqing Plastics plans to leverage its new production line to expand into the food and chemical packaging markets across the three northeastern provinces, establishing a regional hub for custom‑made plastic container manufacturing.
